Jungang Park, Busan

Jungang Park is a peaceful, tree filled park that overlooks Nampodong. The monument to fallen war heroes stands guard over incredible views over the sea and city.

In typical Korean fashion, the memorial tablets were originally located at Yongdusan Park until they were moved to Jungang Park in 1983.

The views are incredible, particularly at sunset.

The stairway has a clever design to incorporate steps and a ramp.
There is also a lift available for those who might not be able to take the stairs.

Statue soldiers guard the entrance to Chunghon Tower.

Would you like to visit Jungang Park? Take bus 38 or 43 from Busan station.

    1. It is worth a trip up to Busan Tower and it’s easy to get to since it’s right in the Nampo shopping district. To be honest, I think the view from Jungang Park is better though!
